WHAT WE DO
The River Tees and it's tributaries is at the heart of everything we do. We want to improve habitats, water quality and biodiversity throughout the whole catchment area as this will benefit our community and our environment. Our ongoing projects have this goal in mind.
EDUCATION
Specifically designed to educate and nurture children’s’ interest in their local river, through a combination of scientific investigation and creative expression.
Coastal and Estuary
We work on recreating and restoring intertidal habitat within the Tees Estuary and restoring native species.
hABITAT RESTORATION
Supporting our river habitats as much as we can! Reintroducing native species, conducting river clean ups and so much more.
INVASIVE SPECIES MANAGEMENT
We use different methods to control invasive non-native species in order to make a safer and more biodiverse environment.
AGRICULTURE AND FISHERIES
Reducing pollution across the river and supporting fish passing through. Focusing on landscape connectivity.
